Transportation & Guides

We use both standard 4×4 customized safari vans and 4×4 luxury customized safari Land cruisers as our road mode of transport for game viewing, taking photos wildlife filming and photography, all our safari vehicles has pop up roofs for proper game viewing and easy for to take as much photos as you can, with also charging system for your cameras, phones and also every client is guaranteed of a window seat for easy view.

Day 1: Arrival, Kigali City tour and transfer to Bwindi Forest National park.

From Kanombe airport in Kigali, you will be welcomed by our own guide who will gladly take you for a city tour. On arrival, you will be mesmerized by the natural beauty of Rwanda the land of thousands hills. It’s such a clean city with hospitable people who will be warmly happy to receive you. The first spot that tourists visit when on a city tour in Rwanda is the genocide memorial museum; it has information about how this war started. You continue visiting the national museum and other attractive sites in the city (Kigali City tour is optional). You will enjoy an adventurous drive through the terraced hills as you access the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda Kisoro area it’s a famous home for the great mountain gorillas.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Day in Bwindi Forest

Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Uganda gorilla tracking at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Day 3: Hiking Mount Sabinyo Volcano in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

The Mount Sabinyo volcano is the oldest among the three volcanoes and that is why it has its name, which means: “teeth of the old man”! This volcano has three challenging peaks. The trail takes you up a ridge along the eastern side to Peak one If you wish to continue, the climb to Peak two involves walking a ridge with breathtaking drops into the gorges of Rwanda and Uganda. Finally, the hike up to Peak 3 is steep with several ladders and much scrambling. On top of peak 3 (3669m) you will be in Rwanda, Uganda and DR Congo at the same time! The Sabinyo volcano hike takes you through all different vegetation belts, and you have good chances of seeing Golden Monkeys, Duiker, Rwenzori Turacos and other many birds. Walking time 7 hrs; distance is about 14 km.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park for Chimp Trekking.

After an early breakfast drive to Kibale forest, this drive will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park so there is a chance of sporting some wild animals which include: Elephants, Buffalos, and the wild cats, Savanna birds and different species of antelopes such water bucks Uganda kobs among others. After lunch you will drive to Kibale Forest arriving at your lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight at.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and bigodi swamp walk

You will, after breakfast, head to Kibale Forest to view the primates. The activity begins at 8:00am with a briefing of the rule for trekking the chimpanzees after which you set off to search for them in the forest. The exercise takes half a day and along the way you will see other primates such as Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Phoestes, Red-Colobus and the Blue tailed and the Red-tailed monkeys swinging in the braches of this thick forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates you will be coming across and on the plants as well as on the insects and butterflies in this forest to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but informative as well. You will return to the lodge for lunch after in the afternoon we you will go for Bigodi swamp walk. Dinner and overnight at Kibale forest Camp or Rwenzori Guest House.

Day 06: Departure and end of 6 days Uganda Primates and Mountain Hiking Safari from Rwanda

After morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport for your flight out late in the evening, with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara Town
